ckratz
My fiance's recently-bought 2015 SEL AWD with 30,000 miles is producing a moaning-type sound that is more notable at moderate to high speeds. It is not constant, but consistent, meaning it seems to be somewhat in sync with some moving component. However, it is not as rapid as each tire revolution. When sitting in the passenger's seat, it sounds more pronounced toward the passenger-right side of the car and I can feel it in the floor board. I found a TSB for the 2016 2.7L MKX that seems to have similar symptoms and it calls for a transmission fluid cooler tube replacement. Was just wondering if anybody has any experience with this issue before we end up taking it to the dealership.
CTFordfan
What you are describing sounds like a wheel bearing or possibly cv joint. Did you try to raise that wheel and feel for any play? 30 k is definitely low mileage for a bearing failure but rt front is prone to curbs and pot holes.
