Intranetsites
Ok not able to connect my ms surface pro advanced to ford sync the message says not compatible the crazy thing is that I first bought the 20130Ford escape with Microsoft Sync, and the problem was it connected to 73 Apple phones/tablets, all Samsung phones/ tablets and every phone other phone Except Microsoft's phones and tablets. So today i buy the new Ford Edge and the new MS Surface Pro LTE and still 7 years later still no Bluetooth connection. Has anyone actually connected any Microsft devices to Fords Bluetooth? Yes I understand blackberry software runs the sync software today, but boy Microsoft and Ford must of had one serious disagreement 7-8 years ago. akirby
Does the surface pro work with other Bluetooth speakers? What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Intranetsites
I want to use the microphone and speakers on my Ford edge Eg: Skype, Skype For Business, Line 2 .. Currently, I connect my Samsung Tablets via bluetooth on both the 2017 Edge and the 2013 Escape
akirby
Have skype call your cell phone - it works much better. The surface pro Bluetooth connection is output only to Sync 3 - the microphone isn’t going to work anyway. Phones and media devices work differently and the surface pro doesn’t mimic a phone.
Intranetsites
Actually all ios and android 17 tablets I own, sync with with sync3. And my 2013 ford escape all sync with Microsoft Sync. The microphone works in all cases for many VoIP programs i use like skype and line2. The only tablet that has NOT synced yet is my surface 3 and my new Surface Pro lte.... grrr
akirby
IOS and android support 2 way communication over Bluetooth (Siri voice control e.g.). Surface Pro probably only supports Bluetooth output to a speaker.
