PrinzII Posted February 12, 2018 Report Share Posted February 12, 2018 While we were changing the pads and rotors on the Edge yesterday, we found something interesting. First, let me fill you in on the details. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that the Edge was sounding like an El Train in Chicago when I hit the brakes. Inside, I heard the sound of metal on metal. The noise was coming from the passenger side rear. When we changed the rotor, I saw where the inside looked like it was scored pretty badly. Then, I got to look at the pad and noticed that a sizable chunk of pad had sheared off which led to the metal on metal contact.
