aussie_73
Im considering converting the front end on my 2012 MKX to the edge sport front end. Does anyone know if the fenders are the same? Im also hoping the headlights would work. I know I would need hood, grill, bumper cover and possibly bumper support. I know it seems like an odd idea, but I really like the edge look, but wanted the interior features of the MKX. I would keep all the original parts so I could go back, but I am considering dipping the car a flat dark grey, so paint differences wouldnt be an issue. omar302
They have different part numbers, so they would be different.

You'll need to change both fenders, the hood, headlights, grille and maybe the radiator support and some hardware… not worth doing as I think the MKX looks better... Claude. This probably won't work or look quite right without some custom body work done. Even if you can manage to mount the Edge fenders, front end, and hood, the fenders probably wont align or match the MKX doors. I totally agree with you in that the Edge Sport front end looks better than the MKX, especially the Gen-II's, the MKX front end always looked like a giant birds beak to me (the Infiniti QX80 does also). Its probably less of a headache to just trade in the MKX for an Edge Sport unless you have some $$ for custom work you are willing to part with.
