jwpanda
Hello, my wife and I just bought a new to us 2013 Ford Edge AWD (which she drives mostly). We are happy with our purchase, so far, and hopefully we will have the vehicle for many years. Just joined to figure out the basic maintenance on this vehicle. Have owned Fords in the past and have always done the maintenance myself.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Welcome, jwpanda, congrats on the new ride, and best wishes for trouble-free ownership. Do recommend drivetrain fluid exchange as soon as possible, trans, ptu, rdu.
enigma-2
Coolant first. New plugs if you have >90k miles. Like WWWPerfA stated, transmission and PTU (if you have AWD). Open for argument, but tranny at 60K, PTU ~30k. Brake fluid and power steering around 100k (or 6 years). Blinker fluid as needed ;-)
jwpanda
Just did trans fluid this afternoon since I had some spare Mercon LV sitting in the garage. Waiting to do the PTU and rear diffy on a warmer day, plus I will have to order a fluid extractor for the PTU.
