hybridoutlaw
New user with a rather stupid question. Most vehicles that I have modified in the past (usually HID conversions) have fuses related to the low and high beams. I've searched high and low for said fuses on the 2016 ford edge and cannot seem to find anything. Would anyone here know if said fuses exist? Thank you for your time and help on this. enigma-2
Probably using circuit breakers instead of fuses.
TheWizard
There are independent 20A fuses for left and right HID lamps in the power distribution box under the hood. Fuse #18 is right side and fuse #44 is left side. (Fuses chapter of owner's manual starting on page 250).
akirby
Only the HID lights get separate fuses in the power distribution box under the hood. Halogens are run out of the smart junction box which probably uses one of the generic fuses (BCM, PCM, etc.). No dedicated fuses for the halogens that I could see.
TheWizard
That's true. Halogen headlights are probably on a circuit protected by a fusible link which OEMs generally consider as not user replaceable (they are replaceable but it takes a certain amount of electrical skills). enigma-2
Read that the Halagen's were powered through the body control module fuses, a 2017 (not Edge, forget the model, but probably the same).

That's what I assumed - BCM = Body Control Module.
hybridoutlaw
Thanks for the quick reply. So the fuse would be inside the BCM entirely meaning that if the lights on the right side were not working (low/high beam) the probability of the bcm going bad is probably extremely low. Thank you all for your help. Truly appreciate it.
enigma-2
The fuse would be in the battery fuse panel, labeled something like Body Control Module. But power could be coming through other fuses as well. (You MUST have a service manual to know for certain). If the lights are not working on one side I would suspect either thd bulbs or ballast (if HID). But that's only a guess. As your under warranty run it over to your dealer and let him sort it out.
