Can
Hello and sorry, if this already has been discussed. Is there any possibility that the multi contour seats with massage function (known from e.g. the Ford Taurus, Explorer or the F-150) will make it into the Ford Edge 2019 model? I'm really interested in buying a Ford Edge but my wife wants our next car to definitely have those seats with massage function.
ben senise
Have you and/or your wife actually tried those seats? I find that these kinds of gadgets and gizmos don't really do much and the novelty wears off very quickly.
Burrcold
The seats look the same in the 2019 as in the current (although the 2019 ST is supposed to have more side and thigh bolstering - not what you're looking for).
TurboToad
Personally I would love another seat alternative for our 2017. The bolsters are just too narrow, foam is too firm, and the lumbar rides in exactly the wrong spot for both of us. I love the car but they are the most uncomfortable seats of any car I've ever owned, and I've owned some real losers! I wish my old 2003 F-250 Lariat leather seats would swap out, those were great. Can
Have you and/or your wife actually tried those seats? Yes, we have tried them in the Ford Mondeo Vignale (only sold in Europe, it's a sister model of the Ford Fusion) and we actually liked them. In our oppinion they were quite comfortable and better then the seats with massage function offered by e.g. BMW or Volkswagen.
Can
Check out the new Nautilus (or a current MKX). Unfortunately we in Europe have limited offers concerning the range of models sold here. Neither the Nautilus nor the MKX are officially sold by car dealerships over here. If you want one of those you would have to import them on your own or pay a company to do so. We are more than happy that at least the Ford Edge has made it over here in 2016 so now we want to buy a 2019 model as soon as it is available here.
