kf4nnq
I've been looking closely at the compass head unit behind my rearview mirror for a possible mounting location for a radar detector. I noticed a little black button on the top, driver-side of the compass sensor. I pushed it while watching the compass display on the info center and nothing happened. I unplugged the compass connector and got the bright green "compass communication failure" message. Does anyone know what that button is for? Hi kf4nnq. :D That question has been asked several times before, and I don't think anyone has come up with a definitively correct answer. Up to this point, it seems the button has no function. At least none that has been discovered. Possibly just a button for a disabled function on the Edge/MKX/MKZ/Fusion/Milan (yes, they all have the same button and it does nothing) . Good luck. :beerchug: Edited April 14, 2008 by bbf2530
