Jasizzle407
So I bought a 2017 Edge about 1 week ago and just realized none of my doors will stay locked. I press the lock button on the FOB from the outside after I close the doors, hear the locks click and see dome lights go off, but when I pull on any doors handle or back hatch they open right up. Am I just overlooking something simple with the programming/settings? Looked all through the manual and couldn't find an answer. Really don't have time to take it by dealership during open hours anytime soon so wondering if anyone can help me out. Thanks.
Burrcold
It's keyless entry. There's a sensor on the back of the handle that opens the doors. Normal.
Mikula
what burrcold said. if the keys are within 3ft (i think that's what i read) of the sensors, just touch the back of any door handle and they open right up. I thought this was the coolest thing when i first got the edge.. i was still living in the 80's era of cars Edited January 7, 2018 by Mikula
