dallenx
Something that I miss on my ’07 Edge that my ’06 Equinox had is the outside temp sensor. I’ve browsed around I can’t really find any info on it. Was it part of an option package? Can it be added?

I am pretty sure all Edge's would have this.
edgedout
Your Ford dealer has a rearview mirror with outside temp and compass. I don't know the cost, but its worth looking into.

Was it part of an option package? Can it be added? Hi dallenx. :D If you have the EATC (Electronic Automatic Temperature Control), you do have an outside temp display. As "GettnEdgey" stated. you need to push the "EXT" button on the A/C unit. The A/C unit will then display the outside temp (the display is not located in the "Information Center"). Press it again and it will display the inside temp. It can only display one or the other, not both at the same time. The Manual A/C system does not have an outside temp display. If you have the manual system (three rotating knobs), you would need to add an aftermarket display, like the Ford Rearview Mirror accessory "edgedout" mentioned. Good luck. :beerchug: Edited April 13, 2008 by bbf2530
