RetiredgE
Good morning Edge family. Here is my conundrum for the day. Seeing how I'm on my 4th Edge and consider myself extremely blessed to NOT have any issues with any (until now), this audio issue (Sync 3?) is messing with my mind. I stay on SiriusXM. I NEVER have used AM or FM (Sync 3 w/Nav). For the past 3 days, at various times, when I start my Edge, the audio is on FM 92.9. I am beyond perplexed with this. Not an major issue, but when you have OCD it is bothersome. Anyone have any ideas or similar issues? Thanks for any advice.
Quila
Are you parking somewhere where the SiruisXM signal might be weak? I don't use SiriusXM, but I use Spotify over Bluetooth a lot. Most of the time, Sync 3 connects to my phone and starts playing music from Spotify when I start the car. Sometimes it takes a bit too long for the connection to happen and it defaults to the radio instead, usually whatever the radio was last tuned to. The same thing might be happening with SiruisXM if it's not locking onto the signal quick enough. Just a semi-educated guess.
ben senise
my personal experience, and of course YMMV, is that when i turn off the car with the radio on, it goes to FM when i turn it back on again. if i turn the radio/sync off before turning off the car, it starts on the right source. i never, ever list to the radio or sirius. i always listen to music on a USB stick or spotify on my phone. this is the behavior i observe on my '16 and was the same on my '09.
