Soggy transmission shifts light throttle

I️ have 2015 edge sport 50 k on it running aggressive 93 livernois tune k&n borla exhaust

At wot car shifts crisply , passing also but with light throttle transmission feels very soggy

It is my Daly driver with all highway miles and only a couple passes at track not much stop & burn

Reloaded my tune , seemed ok for a while then started to feel soggy again

Driven hard shifts are very crisp

Anyone else seeing or hearing anything along this lines ?

Any direction or help would be appreciated

Mine is stock and the same. Is it like the torque converter takes ages to engage and it feels like its slipping instead of engaging? I come from a line of Audi's, BMW's and VW's all with Double Clutch transmissions and the lazy slipping box on the Edge is the only aspect of the car that I truly despise. I cant wait for the 2019s to get the new 9 speed box.

Interesting that it happens on the aggressive tune. I think the Sport shift logic is a bit more crisp, I would try that.

Also interested at your track times.... can you share? FWD or AWD?

Hi,

I have been monitoring the the torque converter slip. It seems, even in Sport mode, the transmission up shifts as high as possible ( like 5th gear when only going 35 mph) and then constantly locks and unlocks. I notice this driving on my way home which is a twisty 30mph ride with about 1000 feet elevation change. The tranny will get to 210F, which seems hot. I can only guess that the strategy is to lower rpm and save gas?
