Platinum White
I just bought a 2017 used Edge Titanium. It has the factory wheels with 245-55-R19 tires. The 2017 Edge SEL come with 245-60-R18. Is there an advantage with the 19" tires?
akirby
Only looks. Most buyers like the larger wheels with lower profile tires. The 18s usually ride better because there is more sidewall, but Ford does a great job of tuning the suspension so that there isn’t a big difference in ride quality with 20s, 21s or 22s.
Tightanium
I don't know the answer but I want to go from 19 to 20's. It more of it looks cool to me thing. I didn't like big side walls. My guess is a more rugged tire. Or that's just what the SEL's come with. 2FAST4U
My '16 Titanium came from the factory equipped with the optional 20" wheels and 245-50-20 tires. I'm using those wheels for my winter tires and use 22"s in the summertime. Claude.
