Highrule
Hey guys. First off I'm not sure if this is where to post this or not, but I didn't see a place for specific member vehicles. This will be were I update with everything I do to my Edge. I'll post pictures and info. (Edit: Date of purchase picture) I have a bunch of little things coming in, once received and installed I'll add them. Went from this to this today. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
So that's what new mats look like. LOL!
Highrule
So that's what new mats look like. LOL! Lol, yeah. I bought the Edge used and it didn't have any mats at all. Had to get something quick to cover the carpet. Lol

At least there will be no doubt that you drive an Edge.
Highrule
Last night I switched over my vanity plate from my Kia since the wife claims that car now. Today I also added this shorty.
Highrule
I should be receiving a lot of my other little miscellaneous items coming in soon. Replaced this the other day.
Highrule
I added some striker covers. I need to add some stronger double sided adhesive so they stick better. The stuff they came with sucks. Once I decide to wrap or dip my rims matte black these should look pretty good. I've always wanted a pillow while driving. Not sure if I'll keep it cause it's a little too relaxing on my way home from work. Lol I may or may not put these on. I also have a silver set to choose between.
enigma-2
Nice. Like to pillow, nice match.
Highrule
Added a little something to the lift gate. I'll hopefully be adding my new puddle lights on 11/30.
Highrule
Finally getting around to posting my new puddle lights. I know they don't give much light compared to stock, but they do look pretty awesome.
chefduane
Same mats, same hinge covers here also. I also converted all my interior/exterior lamps to LED. Really makes a difference. Also, I might recommend a skid cover on the lip of your bumper into the rear cargo area. Really helps prevent scratches. But don't buy the dealer one unless you REALLY want 'Edge' embossed on it. WAY overpriced and other aftermarket ones can be had that are just as nice and a lot less. Trust me, I bought the FORD one on a whim while I was at the dealer. Costly mistake. Nice lookin' Edge!!

I'll also look into the protector. Might go with a clear one, not sure how a black would look. Thanks for the info and feedback. Highrule
I haven't updated in a while, been super busy. I recently put in my interior LED lights, licence plate and reverse lights. I also made changes to some interior trim pieces. Before and After pictures of trim. The picture of the door trim is for advice. How do I remove the longer trim pieces under the window controls? I tried to remove them with no luck, but didn't try too hard as not to break them.
Highrule
Finally added the engine dress up bolts that I've had since November.
omar302
I noticed your engine compartment has side seals for the hood to fender area. I remember my old 2011 MKX didn't have them. Checking now it seems they were added only to the Edge (not MKX) in 2012 or 2013. Interesting change, must have an effect. These are the parts for anyone interested: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-side-seal-ct4z16a239a https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-side-seal-ct4z16a238a
Highrule
Thanks to Lucaspj35, I was able to replace my roof rails with the trim strips for just $17.60 (cost to ship my rails). I love the way it looks with out the rails. So much sleeker! ** Next big upgrade I'm thinking about doing is replacing my current tail lights with the sport ones ** Current: Upgrade:
omar302
Highrule, the picture of the upgrade taillight looks to be from a Gen1 Edge (2007-2010). Notice a single bulb for the Turn signal & brake. Your Edge (Gen 1.5, 2011-2014) has separate bulbs for Turn signal & brakes.
Highrule
Hey omar302, is there an upgrade for the 2012? I want to get away from all the red. If not my only option might be to spray them.
omar302
These maybe? or OEM 2011 Sport Taillights are a bit darker.
Highrule
I haven't had much time here lately to do anything, but I did take my Edge to the dealership yesterday for "The Works." Also, within the last couple of weeks I dipped my badges, the chrome trim around the rear emblem and I painted my exhaust tips and trailer hitch (with high heat not dipped).
