DiscoBear23
I have a bad coolant leak along with overheating and I believe it's the water pump. Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the engine from the top
enigma-2
Service manual requires the engine to be dropped out of the car for service. Do you have coolant in the engine oil? Edited October 29, 2017 by enigma-2
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
You do not HAVE to remove the engine to service the water pump, but space IS tight. Pay a lot of attention to what you disconnect, because come time to reconnect, you WILL need that documentation. Decojuicer can probably give you specific pointers. He replaced the 3.5 in his recently. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22759-rebuild-cost-of-engine/ Edited October 30, 2017 by WWWPerfA_ZN0W
