17 Edge Sport BlackonBlack
Whats up guys? Im new to the forum and have a question. I just installed some H15 LEDs to replace the boring yellow halogen and I think they are too bright and dont feel like getting flashed all day. Is there anything I can do to lower the wattage without having to replace the bulbs? I really like this brand and they are very high quality but I dont see a lower wattage on their website for these bulbs. Obviously LEDs arent designed to go in a reflector housing but I figured it was low wattage and being Im using them only during the day it wouldnt matter. Is there something I can put on the LEDs that wont damage them that could dim them somewhat? Any and all advice would be appreciated. BTW, I LOVE this forum and my new 17 Edge Sport. 15FireSport
Which bulb did you use to replace the stock H15?
17 Edge Sport BlackonBlack
These are the bulbs, made by Lasfit. https://www.amazon.com/LASFIT-Headlight-7600LM-Philips-Free-Hi/dp/B073Y33F5P Now that I look at the picture, its possible the Hi beam portion of the LED is lit along with the DRL. I can't tell because the bulb has to be in the housing in order to be lit and I'll probably go blind trying to stare into the reflector portion of the housing when its on. bamabob
I'm relatively new to this forum also. Your post title is the DRL's are too bright, so you replaced the boring yellow halogen's with LED's. I have a 2016 titanium and I thought the DRL's were LED's? Why would you replace the boring yellow halogens with LED's and want to dim them so they become boring LED"s????

If you car is equipped with DRL headlights the stock halogen bulb gives off a yellowish color. I am trying to match up the DRL headlights with the bottom fog lights. Nick Halstead
Getting flashed because you are running the wrong bulb type. Wattage has zero to do with glare

Yeah, ill bet those are really bright. In the housing with the projector lens those would be great but probably not the best fit for the DRL. I changed mine out http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/23323-drl-change/?view=findpost&p=176667
