Mikula
emailed livernois about a new tune after fabricating an exhaust and they said it won't be necessary. anyone have input? I would think more air out, means more air in, causing a lean condition? or is it just that negligible?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
It really depends on how radical the departure is from the factory exhaust. Most people do not wander that far afield. Also there is a difference between "not needed" and "will benefit from". Just like you may "not need" a tune with downpipes, but "will benefit from" a tune. Nick Halstead
Livernois does not cater to individual mods for the edge, on other models, they will have more tunes for varies things but with the Edge, you will mever get a new tune for adding mods. One of the reasons I liked Unleashed for his vehicle. I plan on running a 3in exhaust as far back as I can go...one day...lol
JWH14580
The tune usually works based on air in. It will recognize the additional air and add fuel. No more carbs to jet
