blowenblu
Need some help, On my 2011 Edge I have a bad #4 Fuel Injector (Front left). Can I replace this 1 without removing intake manifold? Not sure if fuel rail is one piece connecting to back injectors or if I can just remove fuel rail from front injectors.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
No. Unfortunately, the intake manifold has to be removed to replace ANY fuel injector. The rail and injectors are removed as an "assembly".
macbwt
If you are going to replace the injectors you may as well replace the plugs and rotate the coils.
macbwt
First thing you have to double check is are you sure the injector is bad? Not that it is not possible but injector failure is not a big issue with the Duratec. Plugs and coils are.
