addisonm06
Hi all, Its almost that time when i need to replace all 4 tires. I have a 2011 Edge SE and was wondering everyone's input on a good quality set of 4 that are all season. I live in MI and sometimes winters can be brutal. Thanks in advance for everyone's opinion! fishx65
I can tell you not to get the Yokohama YK 580's. A little on the noisy side and not wearing that well.
addisonm06
Thanks guys! I was looking at the continental, but waiting to hear feedback from those who have actual experience on any brands
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I have Nitto 421Q H-rated tires on mine, I would say 7-7.5 out of 10. I would have put on Continental DWS/06 if they came in the 18" size and price Maybe I should have gone for the W-rated ones the way I drive LOL! addisonm06
i was looking at the TrueContact's. They dont have the DWS/06 in the size that my edge takes (235/65/17)
enigma-2
N. Indiana, I just replaced a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L 422 Ecopia's 245/50R20 with a new set. Very satisfied with them. Reasonably quiet even when well worn. Quiet, smooth, energy efficient. Definitely not cheap. Local dealer price matched to Tirerack.Com + got Ford rebate for credit AND Bridgestone rebate, and interest free for one year.
macbwt
I have 30K miles on my Michelin Premier LTX V rated tires. The front tires are at or about 4/32nds of tread. Today I stopped turned off the traction control put it in 1st and floored my 2011 FWD Edge. A small squeak and all traction from the tires. I will say even with the wear they keep on hugging the road wet or dry.
