divamonroejackson
Please help me! Replaced the TSS and OSS, but now my car will not shift into gear. I've tried re-adjusting the shift lever but no matter what I do I can not get the car to move forward. N, P and R are fine. D and L go in reverse. A mechanic neighbor looked at it and adjustments at the manual lever are fine. He thinks the problem is internal. What do I do? Should I drain, break down and re-install the sensors? What could possibly be causing this? (Fluid is topped off) Any help is greatly appreciated!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I think at least you will have to tear all the way back down to the sensors. These issues usually arise due to the shifter not being put into Neutral before work is begun. As such the shift pin is out of position, thus confusing the transmission because it has lost its' reference point.

WWWPerfA_ZN0W
make sure the manual selector valve / range sensor PIN are correctly aligned. that should do it.

colbybrooks99
it wasn’t very tricky there’s just a lot you have to take apart so as long as you stay organized you should be fine i changed the sensors and it shifted good for a couple months then last week the trans blew up so it was just on it’s way out
