killermaze
Hey guys, I notice the interior of my car is getting dirty. I was wondering what type of cleaning products do you guys on this forum use for your ford edge. I dont have leather interior, I actually have the black mesh seats. The side door panels are also black. Whole interior black. What type of products would you apply ot the seats and the door panels and dashboard. If you could post full name and or links to websites would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi killermaze. :D Both Meguiar's LINK: Meguiar's and Mother's LINK: Mother's make excellent products for both the interior and exterior of your car. I prefer Meguiar's, but both are very good. There are other good brands, these are just my two favorites. Good luck. :beerchug:
EdgeNut
For your interior, I highly recommend 303 aerospace protectant, which can be found at most auto stores. On top of the protective quality, it adds a richness to the interior panels without much gloss (read: not at all like ArmorAll). I've used it on my Mazda6, Mazda3, and Edge, and have been very happy with it. Cheers! :beerchug:
solas989
I prefer 303 Protectant - plus it add UV protection Meguirs and Mothers are excellent products too - dont use them but are reputable companies. Attempt to stay away from Oil based products. 303 are not oil based like AmorAll. Solas
PrinzII
Technically, the "oil" you mention is actually silicone. Many silicone based protectants do not provide adequate UV protection and, as a result, will crack.
hmayeu2
I use products from www.adamspolishes.com. I find their products are far superior to Meguiars.
richv
Make sure you get it clean before applying protectant. I use a diluted solution of regular old Woolite (maybe a capful to a gallon of water) Does a great job and nice and gentle. Once it's clean, I am +1 on the 303. PrinzII
I started using Ultima's Interior Shampoo for the Vinyl and may use the Woolite/Folex for the Carpet. Folex can be gotten at any Home Depot Ultima can be gotten at http://www.autopia-carcare.com For protectants, I have been using 303 for over 6 years.
