alexnosmoht
I have purchased an edge from stock so there wasn't an option to add active park assist . My question is -As the option wasn't a costly one £150 can this be carried out in house at my local dealers?
omar302
No. Maybe it can be done, but it is not an option that a dealer can dot it.
akirby
It does look like it's possible, but you need specialized software to reflash the PAM module with the active park assist code, then you need to use Forscan to hack the option data and you have to install the button to activate it and associated wiring harnesses which are probably way more than 150 quid. If you're really interested, here is a writeup for the Fusion (Mondeo) that should be similar. http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=6712&pid=118253#pid118253
PaulSchott
Very interesting, It needs to park on the left side of the street. UK is fun to drive in. I got out of a van on the front passenger seat and fell onto the car next to us because I tried to grab the steering wheel which wasn't there. Embarrassing, It wasn't after leaving a pub.
