jcmeyer5
My wife and I purchased a 2007 SEL Plus from a local dealer. I love it to death. I am considering trading my truck for one. We fight over who gets to drive it... it's technically hers as a birthday present, but damned if I dont try to drive it every chance I get! We got the 18" painted wheels. Originally, the car had everything we wanted except chrome clad 18's. As we have owned the car for about 6 months now and I have seen more chrome clad, I like the painted better. Question is... has anyone given thought to polishing these painted wheels? Is it even possible? I am guessing they are a polishable alloy... but I have no clue. I love the wheels. They look good painted... but they would look BETTER polished Also, what have you done with the stance? Can an AWD be lowered at all? I see a guy below us did a FWD. Ours is AWD. Lex Talionis
well... if your serious.. sure, you 'could' have theme bead/sand/or media blasted and then brought to a high polish. no reason why not. might be costly and time consuming, but very doable. and yeah, aluminums rock over the chrome clads

Try this company and see if they can help you out. I used them to straighten an alloy wheel and they did a great job... Rim Pro Nick
