Scriz
So I now own a 2008 MKX in dark blue (not sure of the name of the color). Great vehicle with 1 issue...when the car is in drive and going approximately 10mph both headlamps go as far right as they possibly can. They won't return until the vehicle is stopped. Starting the vehicle the headlamps do the sweep and return to center, stopped or in park I turn the steering wheel and the headlamps do slightly turn in the direction I turn the steering wheel, but they won't function properly while moving. What gives? Anyone ever faced and corrected this issue? disclaimer: I did search, but didn't find anything regarding this specific issue. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Hopefully it is a circuit that can be repaired rather than needing a complete headlamp replacement ... 2008 MKX Adaptive Headlighting.pdf
Scriz
Is there something that I can unplug that just disables the adaptive headlights? It's not a function I desire. Unfortunately it came on the particular vehicle that I purchased.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I believe there is a control module in the engine bay that can be disconnected. It is mentioned in the document I posted.
