enigma-2
Silly question, was reading in another forum where a fella changes his tires each summer & winter (18" winter, 29" summer), and it throws off his nav system. He takes it to the dealer who disconnects the battery and resets the system. Everything is OK after that. Anyone have any thoughts as to why? ONEDGE16
29" summers? I bet it will through off more then just the nav.
ONEDGE16
Swapping tires from 18" to 19" should not have any impact on the Nav. Ford winter package for the titanium and sport is the 18" rims from the SE. When swapping is he using an impact wrench? Could it be a loose connection on the battery or the APIM being affected by the impact wrench vibrations?
IWRBB
Wheel size makes no difference. 18", 19"- those are wheel sizes. Tire height/diameter is what matters. If you put tires that are a different diameter than stock, it can mess with the nav.
