enigma-2
An old Pilot sat down in Starbucks and ordered a cup of coffee. As he sat sipping his coffee, a young woman sat down next to him. She turned to the pilot and asked, Are you a real pilot? He replied, Well, I've spent my whole life flying biplanes, Cubs, Aeroncas, Neiuports, flew in WWII in a B-29, and later in the Korean conflict, taught 50 people to fly and gave rides to hundreds, so I guess I am a pilot what about you? She said, Im a lesbian. I spend my whole day thinking about naked women. As soon as I get up in the morning, I think about naked women. When I shower, I think about naked women When I watch TV, I think about naked women. It seems everything makes me think of naked women. The two sat sipping in silence. A little while later, a young man sat down on the other side of the old pilot and asked, Are you a real pilot? He replied, I always thought I was, but I just found out I'm a lesbian. akirby
My favorite pilot story is from air traffic control in Berlin. A Lufthansa pilot asked Berlin tower for landing clearance in German. The tower told him he had to repeat the request in English. The pilot said "I'm a German pilot flying for a German airline trying to land at a German airport. Why on Earth should I have to use English?". An unidentified British pilot answered "Because you lost the bloody war!"

Anoldpilot
I have been flying for 48 years, and I have flown most singles and twins. I have a lot of time in MU2's and a few other turboprops. The last few years, I have been flying a Citation 5 and our C-210, which we have owned for so many years it seems like a member of the family. If it goes fast, I like it! I have raced motocross, most classes of dirt cars, and Nascar late models. I have been wrenching for most of my life, and I maintain my motorcycles, cars, mower, tractor, and airplane. Around home, I am the electrician, carpenter, pool boy, yard boy, chef, etc. I have been married to the love of my life for more than 34 years. Life is good!!!

Anoldpilot
I am not a CIA graduate, but I have studied cooking for years. Many years ago, I realized that if I wanted to eat and share meals that were prepared and presented in a manner that would please me, I would have to learn to do it. Cooking is one of the most satisfying endeavors of my life, and I love to plate a meal that draws compliments. My dad also flew 51's, and my son is a 3rd. generation pilot. Between the 3 of us, we have punched a bunch of clouds. Our Tennessee home is in Middle Tennessee. We are about 40 minutes west of Knoxville in the 210.
chefduane
Very cool! Birds of a Feather... hope you have many successful hours in the Edge! Actually, there was a discussion some months ago about the Edge having a quasi-workable Hobbs Meter in one of the screens. Never did find it myself.
