zrt8355
I know a few of you guys with 11-14s have either had or have the DriveBright DRL kit for the Edge. Can anyone comment on the actual brightness of the LEDs? Asking because the iJDM version of these are $50 cheaper and I just installed them on my own Edge (DRL only for now, will wire turn signal later). But to me, they don't seem very bright. In direct sunlight they aren't very noticeable whereas plenty of OEM LED lights are plenty bright even in bright daylight. Just need to know if it would be worth the extra $50 - these are okay but I was hoping for something a bit brighter. If they are similar then I'll just stick with what I got. The pics do make them look less bright than in person.
onyxbfly
How do they look when its dark out?
zrt8355
I can get a night time pic soon, but they're plenty bright. I wouldn't say they're bright enough to really warrant tapping the included dimmer wire so that they dim when the headlights are on, but I may try that out later just for fun. They're noticeable, and much more so than the factory strips, but certainly not enough that oncoming traffic will think you're too bright. normcloutier
I have the kit from Drivebright. Love it. Very visible during the day. I would definitely recommend it.
TheWizard
I had the Drive Bright kit on my '13 and they were definitely in the class of DRL LED strips you see on cars today. They were easily visible in daylight and too bright at night without the dimmer circuit.
zrt8355
Thanks guys, good to know...I may have to try them someday and compare. These will do for now, but it'll be interesting to see how much of a real difference there will be.
