EDST777
Strange, but only recently I paid attention: if the option an easy exit is included, and I open the car from a key entrance, then the driver's seat begins to move forward. How I have to take the wheel, or Ford suggests to do it very much, very quickly? Why it so works? I put packages on a rear seat and further to me to have manually, using a key, to remove a driver's seat back. I don't know something?! What your thoughts? enigma-2
You can initiate the process from either the key FOB unlock or the keypad on the outside of the door. You can set two different seat & exterior mirror positions into memory, one for you and one for the wife Once you press the key FOB to unlock the door, the seat should NOT move until you put the key in the ignition. To prevent having to react to the seat moving, hold off putting the key in the ignition, until your ready. The movement of the seat (how far foward, etc.) and the exterior mirror are fully programmable. And you can also turn this feature off. The full procedure starts on page 135 of your owner's manual. EDST777
Thanks. But I consider option when I open the car not from a charm, and from a key on a driver's door (for example I went to the beach and I left a charm in the car). In case of such option of opening of a door, I have no opportunity to stop a seat (even without the key ignition inserted into the lock the driver's seat begins to move towards a wheel).
