BigWilly
I have a 2017 Edge Titanium and last night we went to a drive in theater. I couldn't get the lower fog lights to turn off with the vehicle running at all. I ended up tapping my rear floor mats over them. I checked the owners manual to find a fuse to pull but couldn't find one in either the under hood or in car fuse panels. Ford included an option to turn off all interior lights but not th exterior ones? Any help is appreciated.
lildisco
To my knowledge, the US doesn't have any fog lights. If you're referring to the Daytime Running Lights, the only way to turn them off is to go through the menu on the instrument cluster on the left side. I forget what exactly it's under, but that's the only way to turn the daytime running lights.
Nick Halstead
the triangle LEDs are signature lights that are wired directly to battery, when car is on, they will be on. The DRLs for all model 2015up are in the headlights on both HID and non HID models
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
No "dark mode" available then, Nick?
lildisco
Nick is correct. I thought that you could disable the LED Signature Lights, but you can't through the instrument cluster. I thought that i was able to disable them at one point. Maybe it was through FORScan, not sure
jmr061
There is no programming for the LED signature lights. They are hardwired and trip with RUN position. You need to pull the fuse which is Fuse 20 in the under the hood fuse block. The SM indicates this fuse also send power to the headlamp assemblies and the headlamp switch.
VisionPilot
Has anyone figured out a way to disable the cargo / hatch area light?
akirby
Other than a hammer or wiring in your own switch, I don't think so.
