MrHappy
Awesome, thank you everyone. I couldn't clearly tell what they were due to the rust but this gives me a good point to go from. Pretty sure they don't sell the nuts by themselves based on when the passenger side was replaced under warranty. (Same issue) The dealer had to order the entire replacement shield kit. (Seemed wasteful then too). Thanks again!

Also, I was able to find it on TascaParts (link). 1

Double George
I have same issue on my2020 edge, however there are no plastic clips on my covers. There are only the stamped metal nuts along the edges. How can I eliminate the rattling? I thought about pool noodles slid between panels and bottom of car. Would this work? They're recessed so unless you get right below them you might not see them - also possible that Ford made a change with your Model/Year - maybe @Haz can confirm. Hey, as from pictures from @Haz, my 2018 Ford Edge has similar layout as 2.7L model. All I did was, removing the loose middle clips on the side panels on both driver and passenger side and keep the good ones. And for the good ones I added double sided tape inbetween clips and frame to act as cushion and that worked for me. Driven 160 once and no rattle at all. Hope this helps Edited March 26, 2024 by bhamraS97

Przemo
Hello. Ford Edge 2019 2.0 EB. When driving at a speed of about 120 km/h, rattling and crackling occur. It seems as if from the passenger side in the back. On słów drive, it stops. I am sending a link to the video: https://1drv.ms/v/c/ac2852c806fe5972/EVzwwHLUATtKnvsbyxXNbukBsFZ0RYo5JyxDcZmEmxHsOw
STBEAST
Based on the video it sounds like something is loose on the outside or underside of the vehicle. Most likely speed/wind related. I would start by feeling around the outside and under the vehicle to see if something is loose. Also maybe sit over there and have someone else drive. It might help you pinpoint the location.
enigma-2
Passenger rear: easy checks — rear mud flaps, air shields under car lost a fasrener or two. Sounds like a piece of tape or paper. I'd also look at the right rear dust shield on the rear brake. Best thing to try is what @STBEAST wrote. Have someone else drive and crawl around the backseat and rear compartment, while finding where should is loudest. There was a guy on YouTube who used wireless, magnetic mount microphones in various locations. Allowed him to quickly work down where the sound was loudest. Przemo
Thank you for yours help. It turned out that I had the lower cover mounts https://www.sklep.autohobby.pl/product-pol-13355-KOLKI-MOCUJACE-OSLONE-PODWOZIA-EDGE-2015-_-2209369-_-H2GB-19E524-AA.html?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwna6_BhCbARIsALId2Z2mAsocDAiFzBL7hIoydybkckAqeI76La0JTD9s9NudD-TbHbDq1I4aAg1iEALw_wcB
1004ron
@Przemo I replaced those fasteners on my 2017 Sport and after a few months the rattle was back.
johnmarkp
I gave up on the Ford parts, both original and updated. I use TOGGLER TC wall anchors. I cut off enough of the vertical fins, that help grab drywall, to allow the toggle to go through a 3/8 inch fender washer. I hot glued 1" OD x 1/2" tall x 1/2" ID nylon spacers (McMaster #94639A876) to the inside of the covers. I inserted the toggler where the old Ford part was and then used the toggler tool to set the toggle. I did this two years ago and all are sill holding strong.
