enigma-2
Fantastic. Good going. You mechanic like me, T-15, no problem, putty knife, kitchen fork, pocket knife, T-20, T-10, pliers, ha!
Waldo
Great news. Chances are the oxidation was caused by the previous owner spilling water onto the IP at some point, and not a result of Ford's quest for "greed and profit".
First Ford Last Ford
Can't damn Ford for a 'lemon'. We bought a new 2013 Edge Limited, had nothing but problems. The SYNC wouldn't work half the time, several other things too . Took it to our local Ford dealer many times. Wife crying (bought for her) about many things not working. Got tired of it and traded it for a new 2014 Edge Limited. Not one problem with the 2014 and couldn't be happier Discovering the the 2014 is more reliable than the 2013 is encouraging as our used 2013 Edge with 50000 km has revealed several small but irritating and rather expensive issues. Not sure if we would ever consider another Ford: not just because of the issues but because a) the dealerships initially told us they hadn't heard of the issue I had, but then mentioned that the less expensive "fix" wasn't successful in their experience (?!), and the response by Ford Canada is less than dismal. Mind you, the local dealership had very friendly staff and they had no problem taking my money.
