Sport17
Long shot here, but is there any way to monitor the inside temperature of the vehicle remotely (smart phone, etc.)? This can be 3rd party or anything.
akirby
There are plenty of remote thermometers in the BBQ world. A flame boss paired with a cell phone as a wifi hotspot should work, but it ain't cheap. Would work almost anywhere though. You can get an inexpensive maverick but it only has a range of 100 ft or so max (or thereabouts).
chefduane
I've used wireless meat thermometers before. Advertised as good up to 300ft but it usually started giving weird readings around 100ft. Besides, as a chef I'm not usually that far away from what I'm cooking for any extended period of time. If I'm doing an event where I need to be away from the cooking, I have someone monitor it. Just curious, why would you want/need to realtime monitor the inside temp of the car? There are themometers that will tell you the max low and max high of something if that's what you're looking for.
