northernone
2011 Ford Edge 3.5L. Received message check fuel inlet. Cleaned fuel inlet as per messages on this forum. Check engine light coming on with above code. Replace canister purge solenoid because it was cheap. Cleared codes and check engine light still coming on with same code. Is it possible that the vapour management valve is the issue? Any help would be great.
chefduane
That sounds like the next logical step. However, when you say you 'cleaned fuel inlet' does that mean the capless gas filler? Perhaps that might be the issue? But best to proceed with better and more information. I have sometimes fallen into the trap of swapping out parts hoping that the next part will be the solution and ending up spending $100 on a fix that really only was a $10 part. Hope you find the issue.
macbwt
You have a large leak. Best bet is a smoke check on it to identify the leak and location.
factor99
I had P0455 recently, it was the canister vent solenoid (under the vehicle).
