roots57
These are RECON LED puddle lights I just installed. They come in blue, red, green, and white. Made for F150's, but same part number as the Edge, and probably all Ford models with puddle lights in the side mirrors. They are so much brighter than the factory incandescent bulbs, even in the colored options, so they are a great option for custom accent lighting. Kind of pricey at $80 per set. www.gorecon.com
gjb89
I like the way Recon's products look but they have a reputation of using poor quality parts in their products and having an insane mark up. With it just being RGB leds in a little plastic housing I'm sure they can't F that up too much.
15FireSport
roots57. Have you had any issues with those puddle lights as of yet? I like those and want to get them. Have they dimmed or has the color faded?

Have they dimmed or has the color faded? They still seem to be working just like new from what I can tell. I'm surely glad too, they were insanely expensive for LED's. Unfortunately they are the only company that make color LED puddle lights for the F150 (same ones used in the Edge). If you do get them, hopefully you will have the same luck I have had so far. If these ones do go out on me, I will probably try building my own using the old fixtures, because I'm not spending $80 on another set of these. Some other company needs to build some colored LED puddles besides RECON so that they are forced to sell them at a more reasonable price, $80 is out of control. They try to make it seem worth it by placing them in a fancy box. Has anyone suggested this to daytime brights?

Just order the standard color TRAX and then call us at (913) 304-0720 and tell us you want them in blue. Daytime Bright sells the TRAX puddle lights for $51. Unfortunately I didnt know they would make them in blue before I purchased the Recons.

Good to know for the future if i need replacements or want a different color. Thanks for checking on this!
