Daughter is in town and complaining about engine overheating while car not moving. I checked the #39 fuse and it is fine. The fuse has 13v coming in. A/C full blast and neither fan comes on. I don't see a relay in the power distribution box under the hood. Suggestions? Thanks

It's either the fan or the fan controller. You get both as a replacement kit. Fairly simple DIY job. Dormans are cheap and worked for me but others have had issues. Other aftermarket brands are worse. Motorcraft is the best option.

I am getting 13v into the controller and 13v out. 2 fans and neither is coming on. Seems one fan would come on and not both at same time. Could it be something besides the fans and controller? If I need to I'll get the kit too akirby, It's about $210 here and the controller itself is nearly that much.

I had the same problem-fans not coming on. The fan assembly was changed and it worked for a day or 2, then stopped working. My mechanic ordered a new fan assembly, changed out the controller, and it worked fine. That was 10 days ago. Today, it stopped working again! Pulling my hair out!

What brand of fan?
