D.popp
I was involved in an accident and hit from behind, since then I lost my parking assist (back up beeping noise). I'd like to fix this myself. What I am wondering is do all sensors need to be replaced, and best way to fix the problem.
enigma-2
I was hit from behind in January, knocked one sensor through the bumper cover, still attached electrically and faced the inside of the bumper; beeping constantly when shifted into reverse. These senders are very rugged and I would bet they are not damaged. As you are not getting any signal, my 'guess' is the harness was damaged.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I would hope insurance is taking care of this issue. But anyways, you will want to remove the rear bumper cover to inspect the full extent of the damage. If new sensors are needed, Dorman parts seem acceptable replacements to OEM to cut costs OOP.
