There are some parameters in the PCM that are retained despite a reflash; which ones depends on the type of PCM. The only way to really get the PCM to fully reset is with a KAM reset. I think the livernois can't do it, is there a way to do the KAM reset after loading the LMS tune, I know if you disconnect the battery maybe you can do it but sure what's the correct steps. Ray Heath Jr Posted March 6, 2017 Report Share Posted March 6, 2017 This just seems like a rough way to do it. You are basically killing the Capacitors quickly to clear the KAM. You could use FORSCAN to do it with out disconnecting ANY battery. Honestly, a slow draw by disconnecting the battery and letting it sit, would be a better method than described in this video.
