Joel2010
So I bought aftermarket headlamp assemblies for my 2010 ford edge, they look great, only problem is they are not bright enough for where I live. I have the assemblies from carid.com, originalfactory assemblies call for two bulbs, a hi and a low (H11 and 9005) these aftermarket ones go to a single H11 bulb and when you activate high beams a apperture opens to widen the beam.... Problem is its still a low beam. Im wondering if anybody has used LEDs or HIDs with this aftermarket assemblies or if anybody knows how to get a 9005 bulb onto a H11 retainer ring to install in the housings? More light, but more heat. Did you see any negative effects when you installed them?

Too early to tell but, Fusion will eventually be retrofitted anyway so it's not really a long term issue with my setup
