VisionPilot
I'm experiencing a noise, I believe coming from the cargo area, that occurs randomly depending on the road surface. It can happen at slow to moderate speeds, and seems to be more dependent upon how quick, or harsh the bump is, even if slight, rather than situations that subject the wheels to larger suspension travel. It's not a rattle per se, but sounds like a single clunk, of possibly a plastic harness contacting a body part. Could be coming from one of the cargo struts themselves, although the door seems to be firmly seating against the spacer pads, indicated by dirt marks on the metal where they make contact. Anyone else getting an odd noise from the cargo area? PS. I have removed the spare tire and jack to eliminate that possible source for the noise. Has anyone had any luck using any of the electronic noise detection devices available? Edited January 9, 2017 by VisionPilot
gjb89
Check and make sure everything is secured in the spare tire compartment. My jack was loose and made a noise.

gjb89
I know other members had issues with the rear seats making a noise.
enigma-2
Others here mentioned this (seems it was on the 2013, but could be others as well.) One member recommended greasing the rear door hinges and that seemed to work.
