Chipster
This thread probably should be in the mods sub-forum, but to me it is an appearance item. An item that I am sure will draw a fair amount of criticism if not condemnation, but should be an interesting topic of conversation. I aim this item at a fully lowered (when kit is made available) and fully performance moded Sport Edge. I am in hopes that someone can Photoshop this striping configuration over to an Edge just so we can see if "it works" or not. Look at this idea as a way to pay homage to the new Ford GT, and who knows maybe a cool one off appearance item.

enigma-2
Racing stripes? How goash. Now, THIS, would make a statement:
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
I'd do the stripes on the Edge, if I could get the GT hood on there :D
Redbow
Give it a test your self. Use colored duct tape. If you don't like it, remove it, no harm done. In the past I've done that even used black electrical tape to "nose & deck" my black 1955 Ford coupe. Just use your imagination. onyxbfly
A lot of those vinyl wrap places have staff that are Photoshop wizards that can show you a before and after of what your ride will look like before you commit to it. I'm ambivalent towards the stripes. Sometimes I like em sometimes I don't. It's your car and it's an extension of your personality. Enjoy it. Chipster
I'd do the stripes on the Edge, if I could get the GT hood on there :D Now that's a photoshop job if I ever heard of one. I don't have a great deal of interest in striping mine, but would be interested in seeing what it would look like if it were to have that addition. No photoshoper's here? gjb89
The offset stripe might not look bad. Wouldn't look good if you have the Vista Roof though. Edited December 19, 2016 by gjb89

Chipster
The offset stripe might not look bad. Wouldn't look good if you have the Vista Roof though. You might be right, but the centered ones sure look good on the GT. They clearcoat the stripes on the GT, and if I recall correctly on the last gen. cars that option was 5K. Pretty steep! "The Boss" get's the first one and I don't mean Bruce... http://www.autonews.com/article/20161216/OEM04/161219884/first-limited-run-2017-ford-gt----bill-fords----rolls-off-assembly Edited December 20, 2016 by Chipster
