snowtrooper
Hey forum, I have an issue with the AC where it repeatedly keeps resetting to LOW and on full blast every 3-ish minutes. What can I do to fix this problem before I take it to the dealership. I have a baby with me and having this issue is becoming a nuisance... Already tried: Resetting Ford MyTouch system; Reinserted fuse Any help will be appreciated. :D Here's a video: https://youtu.be/rhH-6BLwMZE
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
First thought would the HVAC module (climate control module), or possibly the fuse/wiring. Have you ever changed the cabin filter? If it's clogged, that may be a simple fix.
snowtrooper
Tried changing the cabin filter. The problem still remains. Help!!
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
This looks like it is headed towards a faulty HVAc module, IMHO. I would definitely try a) having the car battery checked, and pulling the fuse for a little while before reinstalling.
omar302
Try wiping / cleaning the capacitive HVAC buttons, may they are reacting to dirt or residue on them.

PSUzak
Any update on this? Mine automatically turns itself to low when I have it on a manual setting
enigma-2
In a manual HVAC system, the motor speed is controlled by the speed switch selecting a resistor in the resistor pack. In an automatic temperature controlled system, the ATC module acts as a resistor of sorts, controlling the blower motor speed. It really sounds like the ATC module is going out. There have been reports of the connector melting when the modules fail due to overheating. May not be a bad idea to have a look at this connection by wiggling the connector in the ATC module socket and see if it makes any difference.
