Hopper63
Lift gate will not move or respond to any of the switches to close but only when cold, any ideas besides moving somewhere warm?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Replace the struts would be my first impulse suggestion. OEM is probably your best option, followed by Sachs and possibly AMS. Other than that you can try the liftgate initialization procedure. Hopper63
Completed all of the above twice, no help. Any other advice?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
With new struts and initialization done, I would be looking at the liftgate motor and associate wiring next. Will have to look in the FSM to see if there is something specific of help.
enigma-2
I'm confused. Are you saying that it opens ok, but does not close when the temperatures are cold? (Closes ok when warm).

Hopper63
You are exactly correct. It opens and closes just fine when temps are above 50, anything below that it won't close with any of the buttons. It does open fine at any temp.
