ecoboost18
Trying not to beat a dead horse here, but I've looked through all post in the sub forum with no luck. Ive purchased # BC3Z-19G364-A and # BT4Z-19G366-A I took the rear 1/4 panel off, and plugged the antenna into hopefully the correct plug, it fit and snapped locked into place. see my pictures for further confirmation. I already installed the hood switch. My next question is, what do I do now? Take it to the dealer? Do I have everything I need to get it up and running? onyxbfly
Did you buy the remote start keys? If so take them to your dealer and ask them to program them. If not here is the part number for the key with 5 buttons.... DA8Z-19G364-A (power hatch/ trunk) Here is the part number for the key with 4 buttons BB5Z-19G364-A (sans power hatch/ trunk) There is a guy around here who goes by the name of Benny from Levitown. He can sort you at a good price!
ecoboost18
Yes, I bought a set of 4 button keys and already had them cut. So just head to the dealer and have them program the keys? Do they need to flash the computer or anything along those lines? Thanks in advance
candurin
You can program the keys yourself. The dealer will have to enable the remote start feature via IDS. If you're up to it, you can always buy a Bluetooth OBD scan tool, get a free copy of forscan and enable the remote start yourself. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes to do. ecoboost18
Would this OBD bluetooth scanner work for what I'm trying to achieve? Also, is there any instructions for this? I would bring it to the dealer but Im not wanting to pay the $250 fee they want to charge me for something I may be able to do myself. Thanks in advance for the help. candurin
I use this tool: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS The forum that I was going to provide a link to (xda) is down for maintenance at the moment but you can google "forscan enable remote start" and it should point you in the right direction. I can try and find the exact IPC codes in the morning for you.

ecoboost18
Anyone know how to help me? I have extended license of Forscan and a bluetooth OBD, just looking for some guidance Thanks
candurin
Eco... looks as though you need to make sure that under BCM as built, the value of 726-19-01 should be 0148 to enable remote start. Then once write and reboot. Then you should be able to enable remote start under IPC (as built), which will give you the options in the left hand instrument cluster. I had mine done by ford, but I verified that is the value I have in my vehicle.

mmmfloorpie
The line for enabling the IPC controls isn't present in the 2012 that I'm trying to activate. Anybody know the programming?
candurin
Did you enable remote start in the BCM first? You won't see the line in ICP if you haven't.
