Ray Heath Jr
I have a set of 5K Silverstar D3S bulbs I would like to put in my Edge. First time I have messed with the D3S size HID. What is the trick to get these bulbs out? Don't want to brake anything.
gjb89
Take the headlights off it will make the install much faster. Any reason you chose the silverstars? Edited November 13, 2016 by gjb89

Saw pics of the 5K Temp vs the stock HID's in a Navigator, liked it more.
gjb89
Should look into the Osram CBI I think you would be more satisfied with those. They are 5000k also and are a far superior bulb. Just my .02 cents.

Ray Heath Jr
Well crap, where were you guys when I was buying my Silverstars? Guess I'll put them in, see how they are, and go from there.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
If it's any comfort, Osram and Sylvania are the same company. Osram is the "high end" brand.

Where did you purchase them? I would just return them and tell them you are not happy their performance.

Nick Halstead
for the record. H9 is way better than H11, I don't even know what Halogen Bulb# the Edge runs, but My 11 Fusion takes H11 and I just converted to H9 and the results are tremendous (I'll never run PNP HID)
