Skant153
I saw a post on here about possibly replacing the fuel pump from the cabin. It said there's a panel under the rear seat that can be removed to access the tank. It seems that this panel does not exist on the 2010 limited model. There is a small oval cutout to access the top of the pump but I find I can't even get my hand through to unplug the electronics. Not I'm going to have to drop the tank and replace the pump the hard way. It looks like the tank straddles the exhaust so I'm thinking that may need to come down as well. Does anyone know of an easier way to go about this? I'm tempted to cut through the floor. I'll try to put up some pictures tomorrow.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
That sucks! Seems like 2010 is a crossover year in many ways, because 2007-09 have the in-cabin access port. Here is the official procedure for the 2010, and it confirms the need to drop the tank. WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Figuring out where to cut for the access port will be the hard part. If the fuel tank has otherwise remained identical to previous MYs, you could get measurements off a previous MY Edge for that. EDST777
Hi. An interesting question is, at what time after the car is released to change the fuel pump, when the car has already traveled more than 200,000 km, and the car is a 2008 model, all-wheel drive, it is also important that most of the car’s service life is These are short trips. There are no obvious problems, it works without noise, but what worries me is that on the highway, during emergency acceleration, there is no good traction, the car does not drive very dynamically, it drives, but it seems to me that it should go faster with a 3.5 liter engine and 264 horses of power. I suspect the fuel pump is not as good as it was 16 years ago. Any thoughts. Edited August 8 by EDST777
