gjb89
Has anyone considered purchasing aftermarket tube clamps for the plumbing? I keep having radiator clamps coming loose and I know Nick has had intercooler clamps tubes pop off too.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Are you using the cheaper, worm type clamps. You may want to use OEM style spring clamps instead, or even T-Bolt clamps. Either of these will not put undue pressure on plastic parts so no danger of breakage.
akirby
You don't want to use worm clamps unless it came with those from the factory.

gjb89
T-bolt clamps all the way. Make sure to get quality stainless ones. I'm looking at the Mishimoto ones currently.
GT500R
I agree with T Bolt clamps as a safety measure, haven't popped off any hoses though, even with the high boost at high rpm.
Nick Halstead
sorry, didn't get back to you on FB, been working nights this week. With that said, I was going to do the same but, after researching TBolt clamps, I decided against it. Most Turbo shops don't recommend them.https://www.amsperformance.com/attachments/article/72/Worm_Gear_Clamp.pdf
gjb89
No worries Nick. Thanks for the link!
GT500R
If anything I think AMS also said WORM bolt clamps are also good, but they stick with the traditional stuff.
