2014 Ford edge
After sitting in the sun all day, when leaving from work the AC blower doesnt come on for 5-10 minutes usually. Doesn't do it everyday but does a lot when it's hot outside. Brought to the dealer and of course it doesn't act up. Any ideas. 2014 ford edge sel. Been to the shop about 4 or 5 times for this and other issues. Car only has 23,000 miles.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Coolant and refrigerant levels ok? Maybe the temp sensors are having an issue, may be the HVAC control module itself. What are the temp readings as displayed to you when you first start the car? Does it quickly match with ambient?
2014 Ford edge
The dealer changed condenser and radiator fan motors. Both weren't working and caused the car to overheat and ac wasn't cooling. That problem was fixed but the blower has been causing issues before that. I know the coolant level is good. Not sure about the freon. When the blower works it cools good. The dealer tried an HVAC module update the first time it was in. It seems like the dealer doesn't want to try very hard to fix this. Yesterday my wife brought it in. They let it sit in the sun all day. Had 2 techs look at it and everything was working. They called and asked if we wanted to go pick it up because everything was ok.
