2FAST4U
In my 2016 Edge, I wonder if the dealer could delete the "Sync 3" system and download the regular (previous Sync, not sure how it's called) so I could use my phone with it? I'm asking because I cannot get my phone to work with that s**t Sync 3. Curiously, my phone did work fine in my '11 MKX... Thanks, Claude. Groundpounder
No, and if it could be done, it'd be 10x easier to just get a new phone.
akirby
Try a different phone just to confirm whether it's the phone or sync 3 - probably the phone. Make sure the phone is on the latest firmware and try rebooting it. Finally try a master reset on sync 3.

Yeah… I'm starting to think that it's my phone that might not be compatible… Too bad 'cause I like my new Edge and I also like my "old" phone…I guess I can't have both unless I keep my phone and use it without connecting it to the Sync... I think it's Bluetooth version BT 3.0 … I didn't even know it could be updated! …Really?... Claude.
