Marc-André Veilleux
Hi im currently working on a 2010 edge, at first the heater core was clogged so we change it, the blend door actuator was coding too so we changed it too, now the driver side is still mild to hot when we rev 4000rpm and its boiling on passenger side. After some time reving the engine the driver side go cold and the passenger still F****** hot. At this point i still dont have any coolant pressure, the fan go on normaly, we changed the thermostat for the luck and still nothing. When i stop the engine 2-3 minutes the heat go back. If i block the passenger heater duct the heat is a little better on driver side. No coolant leak and everything is okay when i pressure test the system. There is no coolant flow trough the steam hose on the top of the expansion tank until i rev 3000 rpm, not sure if its normal.... Im thinking about clogged water jacket, blow head gasket or worn waterpump maybe ..... I NEED SOME HELP HERE!
macbwt
How is the thermostat? Ever changed that?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Do you have manual or electronic climate control? Could be the control unit. Also, the blend door may need recalibration. If the airflow is also less on the driverside, sometimes the foam in the ducts comes off and blocks airflow.
