Pavehawk
First of all, I would like to apologize ahead of time if I broke any forum rules, so feel free to come beat me up if you choose!I just purchased a "pre-owned" '13 SEL/AWD and have noticed that my Media Hub may not be working. I've done the Master Reset through my head unit, and also pulled the main plug next to the fuse panel on the driver's kick panel. How I know it may be somehow related to the Media Hub:1.) The USB ports aren't working (after using a very reliable thumb drive) 2.) The VGA inputs aren't sending any signal to the head unit3.) The SD Card slot isn't showing as active on my head unitMy question is this: Is there a specific fuse for the Media Hub, or do I have to go in and perform surgery on my center console and trace wires to see if there's a connection issue? From what I am looking at on the "Alerts" screen, it says there is an "SD Card Fault", followed by a date in May of this year at roughly 9:30am.My experience with vehicles and electronics tells me that it has to be a wiring issue, or a hardware issue. Can someone give me a little bit of insight as to what may be wrong, and what I may need to do to get it the way it's supposed to be? Of course I want to do it the cheapest but best quality possible. I figure it like this - if I can diagnose it myself, and therefore fix it myself, it'll save me the $150 in diagnostic fees if it doesn't end up being the Media Hub gone bad... jmr061
pull the hub out and see if coffee or soda got spilled all over it
akirby
Pulling the fuse or battery cable to reset everything is worth a shot.
Pavehawk
The question is this: what fuse do I check and is it tied in with the head unit fuse?
